Zandile Qono
Before being called to the Bar in 2017, Zandile practised as an attorney in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng. She has a general litigation practice which focuses on Public Law, Labour Law, Construction Law and Personal Injury Law. Zandile serves on the Legal Committee of the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority and has previously served as a member of the Municipal Bid Appeals Tribunal in KwaZulu-Natal.
Zandile's activities at the Bar include having served on the Bar Council as a junior representative. She is also an advocacy trainer.
Outside of her practice, her time is dedicated to her family and various public interest groups which include the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Gandhi-Luthuli Documentation Centre as well as the Durban Book Fair.
